Framework
Low-code framework for ERP development, 15 years in production and now extended with AI skills for even faster delivery.
15 years of continuous development
The Wercstat framework has been in development for 15 years, and gets better with every release. It is a low-code framework, built on the industry standard Java and designed specifically for developing ERP systems. That makes us unique among software developers: not just a generic low-code platform, but a toolkit that knows the ERP domain from the inside out.
Model-driven
The framework lets developers work from explicit models: entities, view models, forms, grids and pages. What normally has to be written by hand is generated from the model. What is domain-specific, you write yourself in modern Java.
Model-driven: entities and UI in one coherent DSL
Type-safe: errors are caught at compile time, not in production
Extensible: virtually every generated component can be replaced or extended by hand
Standards-based: built on Java and Spring Boot, the industry standard at companies, banks and governments
AI skills: driven by your model
The framework was recently extended with AI skills; AI-driven tools that talk directly to the model. Starting from an entity, they generate the matching UI in seconds: a form for the detail view, a grid for overviews, type-safe, model-compliant and ready for refinement right away.
That is a first step. We are extending the skills step by step with patterns that recur in every ERP project: workflows, approvals, periodic processing and integrations with external systems. This lets developers focus on the domain instead of the routine work.
Extensive documentation
The Wercstat tooling is backed by extensive documentation, from high-level architecture overviews to in-depth descriptions for the techies among us. Browse the available documents or get in touch for a guided tour tailored to you.
